one month sober

ugh...depressed. i have found this site helpful by recognizing my symptoms in other peoples posts, thanks. New here.

Hi Guston,

Me 6 days sober and the better for it. I'm depressed too but with each day sober I'm open to freedom. Feels really good to not feel the shame and anxiety which always follows Christmas (any) drinking. Hang in there alcohol is a depressant. I'm not as depressed as if I had picked up, that's for sure.
