I did already, they're nice people- I just think they can't control their kids.
I wouldn't mind a move anyway.
If it was really important for me to stay here I would put up a fight, but a change could be exciting and the rental market here is a bloodbath for landlords- so I have the upper hand and could find something really nice as there are so many options available right now.

I don't talk anymore, I bang on the wall like a psycho neighbour.
I've gone over a few times to talk, now I just bang and they quiet down.
I've lost my manners

Ha. I live on the third floor. When I was looking, the only non-negotiables for the condo were, "top floor and in-unit laundry." I'm on the end and my one neighbor is a one-bedroom, so the number of people in there is usually one or two. Quiet.

I thought I was safe because I only have people on either side! No one above.
Not safe!!!

There are now Earbud versions of these Noise-Cancelling Headsets, but I only know of the larger, over-Ear type. CNET is a fairly neutral Site...

- Noise Cancelling Headset Reviews -

The quickie explanation is that these Headphones sample Noise/Waveforms around you. They then instantly put out the inverse Waveform to whatever is incoming. Sorta the Anti-Matter to an Audio Waveform. Mebbe it's just my Techie background, but the image of a Gal in a black Teddy with orange Headsets on - a la Baggage Handlers loading a Jet on the Airport Tarmac - kinda gets to me.

Some Neighbor Solutions are simply better than others when chillin' in Sobriety:

'now I just bang and they quiet down.'

It's Director Rob Reiner's Mother delivering the classic Line at the end...

- 'When Harry Met Sally' ~ Restaurant Scene - 2:50 -

RedAndy, that is truly amazing. Well done, you!

Ok, Bim, I don't get it. (Though I haven't read all the way through the new thread yet...)

*I've seen zero bugs so far in 10.
*Why are you still using MS Office/Word? There's Google Docs and it's better (and free).
*And why are you using some no-name browser? Use Chrome. Problem solved.

Google Docs has equivalents that are free and compatible across the board.

I replaced my intake of the seriously-Peaty Single Malt Scotches with Coffee that would raise the Dead. It's all good. I also get a Geek Amp-on when all the Technology and House 'stuff' around here works [as it is]. Blistering Solar is streaming in to heat the Joint. Da Pooch is energetic and OK. My Apple Laptop-usin' MesaMate is happy when the Experimental, Wireless InterWebz connection is smokin', as it is. I drove out ~1 Mile to the nearest County Road to put Tracks in the ~10" of Snow we've got. This allows UPS to Deliver. Free Shipping Heaven On Earth!

I'm with Bim, as she notes above. Today is only the 26th; only one Day different than yesterday. What is all the fuss?

Congrats on the new Car, too! Neato Adult fun...

Yeah, in all honesty my son is usually pretty quiet. He just is not one of those loud, boisterous types. I was so happy when I moved out of my old apartment to here, because I had 3 neighbors who were always drunk and fighting and the police were always there. Me, and my 2 sets of nice neighbors all moved out within a few months of each other because the landlord did nothing about the drunk idiots! Ha! At least I never got to that point!

ssshhhh. I live just a hop, skip, and a jump from Microsoft. They own this area. They're doing some things right.

Look, I'm not going to get into a product comparison. Carry on.

My intent wasn't to compare; it was to make suggestions that might help.

But I'll take that as my cue to shut the eff up.
