Sorry to hear that BigSomb - I think the most important thing is to be a comfort to your mom and you are doing that by going there. I hope you get flights booked ok and the weather doesn't hold you up

I am so sorry BigS. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
My own Grandma passed five months ago at the age of 90. The hardest thing for me was that although she was weak, her mind was still as sharp as a razor. She had just returned from a trip to France with my mom and some of the family 5 days before she died.
The weather is awful here. Rainy, stormy and winds. Some of my friends from the US have been complaining about the snow on Facebook, but right now I would actually pray for snow. Being housebound for the night, the highlight of my evening were these gorgeous 'Stem Ginger All Butter Cookies' I picked up at the supermarket. I think I actually want to marry these cookies
Diet starts tomorrow, I swear...
