Ok, my test drive with deviled eggs went fine.
I only skipped the step of shelling them under the current of cold water - didn't get why it's required and the idea to collect shells all over the sink didn't appeal a lot. Any tips from the pros why it's important and how to minimize the mess?
But it shelled ok, I was careful) I made yolks with just olive oil and salt - I am on Day 17 of Whole 30 , so options are pretty restricted. Though I don't eat mayo anyway. I wanted to do it with avocado, but don't have any at the moment - it will be De Ville Test Drive for tomorrow.
But they turned out pretty tasty.
Now my mission is to give a good cleaning to my place and work through another chunk of emotionally taxating issues - want to leave it resting in hell, so they can entertain themselves in the place they belong to, not in my life.
See you all)

Melina ,
even when drinking i never really got new years eve .
Always preferred to be sat home with a drink, i was a drunk who enjoyed long and rambling conversations NYE was always too busy and loud .
This year i shall buy lots of white lilies and put them out in memory of my aunt .
I hope everyone is getting through ok , picking yourself up if needed , i know some find it hard to say about slips and stuff and suffer in silence , thats ok .
Sometimes in sobriety we find we got nothing to say or share , thats ok too ,
just a simple checking in is affirming ourselves and the commitment to make contact with someone else in recovery .
Bestwishes, m

Sometime we need a mirror held up to us to see what changed. Or in your case changing.
You have been here communicating and sharing.
You have taken small manageable steps to resolve things. Whether that be cleaning, or as you say, emotionally taxing things.
You have stuck to the whole 30, which I cannot seem to do.
You provided support to others here.
You tried deviled eggs! Of which I love and now need to make.
You are inspiring just by being you.
Gees doing it for yourself. You are doing very well.
