hello

28 days sober, starting to wean myself off the antabuse. Went to couple AA meetings over the weekend, already sick of the god stuff but they're supportive. I have no intentions of sticking around 20 years like the several old timers I met. Will probably go weekly for awhile and concentrate mostly on the first step. I will be more dependent on the secular portion of this website and others such as Smart Recovery. Good luck to all

Hi celendra! Just take things day by day right now - sounds like you have a plan set up and that's always important. You'll find lots of support here. I love the cost benefit analysis on smarts website- it's easy to use but has multiple benefits for me. Best or luck

Welcome Celandra - I know several people who've had success with SMART.

I also think SMART is a good program. We see people succeed who use a variety of different programs, so I think, as long as you focus on your goal of abstinence, you will be fine.
