Brothers friend has come and gone....he's not as cute as I remembered him being (haven't seen him in over a year). Shouldn't have gone to the trouble of changing robes ha!

Well my brother and sister in law are departing tomorrow Monday at 7:15 pm American time. Arrive at 7 am.

We won't see them until Christmas Eve as they have to visit her family and some friends, but I am actually getting excited now

You would think that they haven't been home for years, but they were here last May for Granny's 90th. Then she passed away two months later.

This Christmas will be different for sure.

But I'm excited now, yay!

We've looked at these, Bim. I've got tons saved on Pinterest. Mr. Potamus wants one more than I do. I don't think we can fit into one anymore, lol. We have too many animals and too much stuff. We'd have to have a massive yard sale.

I'd rather have a cabin in the woods, maybe a 1200-1600 sq ft one. And a 400-500 sq ft writer's cabin behind the bigger cabin.

Mr. Potamus wants some chickens for eggs, goats for cheese.

Thanks, Mesa.

I like the LL Bean ones. Will definitely look into these.

Great song.

I realize now how many photos I've posted. Sorry if it's overkill.

I took WAY more photos than what I posted. I kind of get trigger happy when out taking pics. Wish it was a better camera.

Just getting caught up.
Sounds like most of us had good days!
Operation football was mostly a success. The female half of the ex-friend couple completely ignored me, which was just fine. We weren't sitting with them, but were directly across the bar from them. I might as well have been invisible. Guy friend spent some time chatting with them, but sat with me most of the time. All was well as far as I was concerned. And the Packers won.

Now I'm home and in sweats, watching a crime show. About to have ice cream. Perfect.

That actually sounds wonderful. I've always wanted a cabin in the woods. So peaceful.

BAM, Sao!

Legendary Bernard is playing my exact Bass in that Chic Vid: an all-Maple Music Man. Leo Fender's Company after he sold, and left Fender. I got a bunch of friction-based Static from the Plastic Teardrop Pick Guard. I made an identical one out of Stainless Steel, and had it Chromed. I grounded it invisibly; through the Body. My Luthier Pal de-Badged the Bass for me; we took the Logo off the Headstock. Thus, all Maple & Chrome. Heavy MoFo that killed my Shoulder; even with a Sheepskin-padded Strap. For all here, Musicians have fo evah said those Guitars have a 'Blonde' Finish. There's a few more follow-on Jokes there, but even I am not that stupid.

Super Pix, Brynn. However, I'm disappointed that your Dog's Face is not digitally obscured. Priorities, Goil. Priorities. As a Fridge Magnet goes:

'I Got A Dog For My Husband. It Was A Good Trade'.

My fav Song of the Day is from Level 42, and monster Bassist Mark King. Saw them open for Steve Winwood back in the Day...

- 'Something About You' ~ Level 42 - Live -

Here's a Tree Pic with the Goldie Dog Topper Ornament. Backlighting from the Wall Sconce makes it look like some weird Canine X-Ray. To the right of the Tree, with the Chinese Figurines on it, is one side of my double Stack of Studio Monitors powered by ~1 Kilowatt. As an old Saying goes: 'If It's Too Loud, You're Too Old'. Cleaner-than-clean Sound that prevents Ear Fatigue.

You a total Pro tonight, Marty. No surprise to anyone here on how well you handled that after some time to breathe.

'All' I read prior was that you underwent some painful Blindsiding. It's unexpected, and that's what gets us. That's why it's called 'being Blindsided', eh?

Nice Job on taking back the Situation. Joke 'em if they can't take a ...

Yes, I was definitely blindsided last week, Mesa. Off-guard. This week I was mentally prepared for whatever guano might have been flung at me. There was none. Probably just because I was there with a smile on my face.

Edit - that female who ignored me had the most sour expression on her face all afternoon. Must suck to be bitter and petty.

Memorize and deliver this Poem, if you like, next time you see her:

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Must suck to be bitter
And petty like you

Burma Shave

Your Edit might be the funniest Line of this entire Thread! And, it's no small challenge to beat out some of Sao's Lines!

Well now guy friend is texting me that he can't deal with the stress any more. So maybe it wasn't a success after all. I should have stayed home.
