Been stressy, busy, crazy.... and here's what happens...

Been stressy, busy, crazy.... and here's what happens...
Lately I've been buried at work....
Had to go back to court with the ex regarding some custody issues and her on-going craziness....
Been not getting enough exercise and my sleep has been pretty awful....
Homefront's been a challenge, as my Lady is struggling with her own upwelling of depression and anxiety.... years-ago trauma and basic human emotion coming forth - as it does in ones thirties....
Too much demand, not enough relax....
Too much stress, not enough relief....
And here's what happens;
I take deep breaths
I clear my mind
I take the moments that I can, here and there
I grab a short walk or a run or at least a few minutes of stretching
I remind myself it's not forever
I give my Lady a hug
I cuddle my little girls
I cozy up to the dog
I journal
I give thanks
I find gratitude
I put one step in front of the other....
And everything's OK
Because that's what happens - even when things get a tough - in sobriety.
