Spinny brain, SP? That is one of my signals that life is off in BimVille. Something needs to be resolved when I start having that happen.

Spinny brain. I like that. That's exactly how I felt Monday. Couldn't pin anything down long enough to examine it. It felt horrible.

Some things definitely need to be resolved, sure.

Let's see... surgery, marriage, career shifts, crappy management at an otherwise pleasant job. Lol.

Hi, guys.

Home, had dinner. Then settled another money related issue - one more debt off my shoulders!

Now looking for another cup of tea and some errands to have a more productive morning and overall day tomorrow.

Lots of great posts here, so I read and enjoy.

Ken, this one really hit home hard for me:

" Joy comes in many forms and in many colors. It may not look like I expect it when it arrives. It certainly doesn't need to look like everyone tells me it should. "

And I came across a quote today which, I think can help when we are suffering with forgiving ourselves for past mistakes.

"Right actions for the future are the best apologies for wrong ones in the past." —Tyron Edwards

See you all)

I hear ya, SoberP. I just went toe to toe with my boss about the way one of my people got treated. He preaches our people are our most valuable resource all day every day, but he sure doesn't live it.

I plan to leave in 6 months, but it was oh so tempting for a hot minute to just pack my trash today.

Sobriety uber alles.

^^^ What the dolphuck!?

I laughed at the bunny rabbit suit guy.

Sadly, if that were taking place in America, I'd fear some of those guys might be shot.

Yeah, Nons, I feel your frustration and pain there. Today I nearly sent an email to the manager that I was turning in a two week notice. Held back though. Good for you for going it on your own soon.

It will be a Santa Moon! Full moon on Christmas this year, I hope it snows so I can go outside and look for Santa! How magical was that thought as a child?

My uncle tells a story of me watching TV one Christmas Eve at my grandparents' house, and there was either mention of Santa, or a picture of Santa in the sky in his sleigh, on his way to deliver presents... I ran through the house, flung open the door, and yelled outside... "Santa, don't leave!! Don't forget about me."

So cool about the full moon First since 1977! I shared on Twitter just now.

I took this picture at lunchtime today. It can be amazing what you come across

My original picture was better but I had to edit it a lot because it was too big.

I had am aftercare meeting today. I don't feel well right now. Of about 16 of us, about 5 had relapsed recently. Our therapist looked tired. I asked him privately if he was ok. He told me that he is wrecked because this is his busiest month. Also he did two radio shows today warning people about the dangers.
Another woman there is a nurse. She told us about a patient - a mother in her 50s - who is now in a vegetative state for life as a result of alcohol. She said it could be ant one of us. And I'm sitting here reflecting on my life. I had seizures as a result of alcohol. I could have died. But I am here and I have been given a second chance, for some reason. I will figure out my purpose in life. And for that I'm very grateful this Christmas.
