9 days sober
9 days sober
It's tugged at me a few times but so far not too hard. I'm kinda worried the AV is saving up for a big one when I'm have my guard down. On the plus-I feel pretty good and my head is less fuzzy.
It's a bit scary reading about a relapse after 6 months sober. Any comments?
Thanks to everyone that posts.

I was an all day every day drinker for several years...I couldn't go 3 days without drinking...now I have nearly 9 years.
Yes, relapses happen, but success stories happen too.
I know which team I prefer to be on...
The thing you have to remember is you're always smarter and stronger than the AV Chrcarlson - whatever it throws at you, you're better.
Stay ready - have a support network, get a plan, and use it when the AV strikes

In the past I always just said to heck with it after a few days and drank. This time I've been to AA nightly, have some numbers and have a real commitment to quit. Finally admitted to being an alcoholic. I've got two guys to call and have already call them to "shoot the breeze" so it shouldn't be difficult to call if I really need help.
If there's no numbers there, there's no one in the rooms.
This is the downtime of the forum, a lot of people are either going to bed or sleeping.
When there are people in the chat room you'll be able to see which room they're in when you log in. Simply click the room you want to enter

Day 10 today. I cleaned my bathroom-I'm a guy so yes that's a big deal. It's not even springtime. Good advise, I'm going to try to cleanup around here. It's something I use to neglect.
