Still Tired After 5 Months
Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if you remembered how long it took for your energy to return? I am still pretty exhausted after work and in the morning even if I get eight hours of sleep.
Thanks,
SiC

It certainly took a while, i cannot say exactly how long for me but it was more than a few weeks. Have you had a checkup since you quit just to rule out any physical deficiencies/issues?
Are you eating well, exercising, and perhaps taking a quality vitamin / mineral?
I found I was run down in terms of nutrition, exercise, and just emotional weariness.
I feel much better now. . . keep sober and take excellent care of yourself
and I bet things will clear up soon

well done on 5 months SiC
I recall I was going through that around 5 months,
diet and exercise, maybe some vitamins,
ask your doctor before you start downing a bunch of supplements
go for walks - even short ones, get some air and sun

Congrats on your 5 months man. How's everything else in your life? Diet? Do you workout? Stress?

Everyone here offered good advice here. Best bet is to go to your doctor for blood work.
In my experience, I've found that just dealing with normal emotions and living life on life's terms vs having an addiction to cover everything up, I've found to be very draining on the brain. I'm trying to keep my life calm and simple, and I'm trying not to be in my head so much. On the days that I can do these things, I do find I am less tired.

The job stresses me out and I stopped working out when I got depressed. But now I feel mostly not depressed and I am working on my sleep cycle and diet. Work shouldn't be as bad now that the depression is easing off. Plus, I got a bonus and I can stress less about money for a change. Thanks.
