Reality check. Jaundice sets in!

Thought I had this all under control. In February I was involved in a really bad car accident. Was going to the chiropractor almost daily and instead of getting on meds I went back to the beer. 6 months later that got out of control. I finally decided to do a self detox with a liver cleanse and dried beets with lots of water. It was working. My cravings were gone. Well all it took was one slip on a binge at a party, 3 days later I'm showing signs of Jaundice. I have an appt with a doctor on Wednesday to do blood tests and most likely treatment. I've gone through cancer, and I tell you what, I've never been so scared before. My wife cant sleep she is so worried. I suppose sometimes you just feel immortal and drink whatever whenever and nothing will happen. It will catch up at some point. On day 5 of being sober.

Sorry for your worries. Sounds like it must be best for you to stay alcohol free now - you'll find a lot of support here :)

I'm so glad that you are back, but wish it was for better circumstances. That's very scary and I hope your tests turn out okay.
