I figure that if I actively participate in things that remind me that I have an obstacle to overcome, I will remember not to forget.

This is an "everything is currently OK" post.

I'm at work catching up on things that have fallen through the cracks, but it's not an insurmountable pile.

I called a woman who gave me her number at an AA meeting. I just called her to say "thanks for calling me, but I was teaching a class and couldn't pick up the phone" She sounded like she was a bit worried that I was calling to share a breakdown. I could hear a small child in the background, and I figured that she was probably thinking..."oh crap, can't do this now"

She seemed a bit relived when I said "ok, see you around"

Any way, It's a good day to embrace the things that are ok.

From what I understand people give out their numbers cos they want you to call them...it might have been a bad time, or what you though she was thinking may not be right at all?

If she didn't want you to call her, she wouldn't have given you her number. Don't overthink it. She may have been busy at the moment.

I do tend to over think things a bit.
I totally admire the commitment that people make toward the welfare of others.
I've already noticed that there are a few of you on SR that really supportive.

Gega, I think it's good that you reached out and called the lady. Maybe it wasn't a perfect time for her, but I bet she smiled when you said all was okay.
