Hey UUN, look over in December, you're at the top of the list....

I missed his name while posting the compiled December class (3) times.

Now, he's having a "weekender affair"....

Thanks Mesa for the link. Enjoy your free day. Finding a hairdresser is important so I can understand that Mrs. Mesa is pleased.

I'm twiddling my thumbs as it is a very slow day today. Until my dental appointment later this afternoon. Crossword puzzle. Fiddling with pics I took this morning. Got it.

Neverthought, that song always makes me smile.

HaF, I liked the goose story. That's classic.

Seen on the way into work. A forest preserve in the middle of urbanity.

Killer Pic, Ruby!

Linked below is where The Flaming Lips Vid was shot. The Fremont Street LED Canopy bit was added when other Casinos drew Foot Traffic away from this part of 'Old' Vegas. I remember going to these Old School Casinos as a Wee Bastid when my Folks visited some old Army Pal my Dad served with. He maintained mechanical Slots for a living, and had a few to play endlessly in his Laundry Room. Stellar fun!

Fremont Street in Vegas ~32 Years ago with Browne's S.O. Daryl Hannah of that era...

Hi, weekenders. Finally home - had to make it to the bank after work.

Somewhere around 3 p.m. I didn't think I was going to make it - felt dizzy and crappy.

So, going right to bed now.

Have a good day/evening all!

Good day all!!

Nice pic Ruby.

Best of luck in your stint as the gaffer in the new year Sao. The boss believes you can do it.

Finally acquired a birth cert for junior today. He officially exists now.

Retrieve the second goose!!

Morning/afternoon all!

Coffee in bed, and just staying quiet. I like it.

I'm ready to have a full meal- eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns. But I don't wanna make it, it's my day off. So maybe I'll close my eyes again for a little snooze.

The river is flying by. Rain, go figure.

So, Mecanix - is your workplace in waist-deep water? Or is your town? That post kind of threw me.

Just posting to be in, I have no news or tidbits of insight. Maybe I need another cup of coffee or a walk. Should I go to the zoo? hmm...

Dinner sounds good SW. Beef shins, eh?

Glad to know Finn exists now, Behan. How's the sleep going?

Ran over to see my Dad. He's doing well. Next week he'll start rehab. I had to get back to work so I didn't stay too long.

Melina, sounds idyllic. Every time I hear reference to coffee in bed I think of the Squeeze song "black coffee in bed." They actually played it on the radio yesterday. I'd forgotten how long it is.

Bills are paid, outside lights are up, and I've got thirty minutes to kill before an appointment! Oh...and I called two other lawyers to see what they charge for sealing records. I don't want to just plop down two grand without doing a little shopping first!

Seeing Wolfies dinner plans reminds me I haven't eaten lunch yet. I'm thinking peanut butter and an apple....scintillating, I know.

Mesa....I go to a med spa for facials and my retin A. I think it's great your wife takes such good care of her complexion and wants to look good for you! Hope you have some good geeky fun today!!

Had to google beef shins. I thought maybe it was the same as what we call shanks, but wasn't sure. I've never had beef shanks or shins. Not something that's readily available in normal grocery stores in my area.

MLD, I googled too. I call them beef shanks and I have cooked them before as the base of beef barley soup. My grocery store is sporadic in having them available.

SoberWolf, I was glad you posted how you were cooking them. All the recipes I just read looked delicious but all of them had wine in them. I may make one that Jamie Oliver had and sub grape juice and vinegar for the wine.

Weasel, I forgot about something I heard on the radio last night that made me think of you. Apparently they have invented glasses that allow most color blind people see color. They talked to some kid who had them who was finally able to tell the difference between soccer jersies. Maybe worth checking out?

Don't read if eating

I'm here!

Last day of class yesterday, all my papers are submitted.
No drinking to celebrate, I ordered chinese food instead, which gave me mild food poisoning, I threw up a couple times, has the worst stomach ache, nauseous, had horrible nightmares when I feel asleep, sweating then chills.
So that didn't go as I was hoping haha
I feel a bit better today though, I didn't really have a choice, super busy work day xo
