I am sorry that you are in pain.

Abstinence from alcohol is the best thing for an aching liver.

In the meantime, it might be a good idea to see your doctor to discuss your plans to stop drinking and to assess your health.

Sorry to hear about your pain, I do hope you follow through with quitting, it's totally worth it. It's challenging, but you can do it. The thought of quitting again, gives me strength to stay sober. GOOD LUCK Danb26
