Hello

I wanted to introduce myself, joined today.
I myself am over 4 years recovered from addiction but now dealing with my spouse who is badly abusing alcohol. We are struggling in our marriage because of it but Im determined to keep myself healthy and be with him when he comes out the other side,

I look forward to reading more here.

welcome.

sounds like a tough spot to be in. I'm glad you're taking steps (joining and introducing here, for example) to support your own sobriety. You're no doubt well aware that you cannot 'fix' his or make his choices for him, but you can protect your own health and sobriety.

Thank you. I used online support when I was healing and thought it might be helpful again.

Thank you all for.the.welcomes. I was looking at my old journals and it will be five years for me in January. I cant believe Im now faced with addiction again except with my husband. Feeling particularly sad because of the holidays and I miss him being healthy.
