It really is hard to believe that in 4 short weeks I'll have been sober for 1 year. Hard but not hard. I really wanted to quit and needed to for my health and happiness. There are still nights that are bad and I really want to but never enough to really entertain the idea.

I can't say my life is "better" yet but I can say that my issues are a heck of a lot clearer now . So in year 2 my focus is going to be fixing those things that I need to so that I can be happy and also maintain my sobriety.

I hope for everyone out there during this holiday season that you are healthy and at least on your way to being happy.
