Happy birthday, Behan!
My present to you would be peaceful uninterrupted sleep, with little Mr. Finn and Mrs. Behan snoozing soundly beside you. No one wakes up for eight hours and everyone wakes up smiling and happy!
When I wouldn't sleep as a baby or I was teething, my Mom would rub whisky on my gums.... Way to go, Mom, lololol.
Thanks guys for the congrats on the job offer. I'm going to sleep on it and see if I feel any differently tmro. But I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go for it.
These are the miracles that happen bc I stopped drinking. Instead of drinking and living in jealousy about others who were offered the jobs I thought I clearly deserved for no reason and through no effort of my own. I simply cleaned up my act and it shows through my behavior and very clear gaze and mostly thoughtfully chosen words. It's almost like I'm a big girl now lol. Lots of work to still do on myself but at least I'm not manically tap dancing while the house is on fire, trying with all my effort to look together and successful.
I'm just me now, and I work hard and I'm quieter and I love it.

I am off to go run at the gym.
My clock is all off. I was laying in bed just after dark yesterday. I was asleep by 6. Now up at 3:30. I need to be in work at 2:30 am monday so I guess I will keep this going until then.

Slept on late after my very late night because of mr p.

Congrats Melinda - Awesome that your effort is very much being noticed by others. Enjoy this.
Sounds like a lot of folks are off their sleeping schedules this weekend. Sending you all good energy.
I'm tired myself after a long day in the sun. It was a good travel day - boat and snorkeling. But definitely drained.
I'm deepening my recovery by focusing on emotional eating, and tonight I really had the urge to go eat even though I wasn't (and shouldn't) have been hungry. It was tough to sit with it - lots of emotional discomfort. But I made it through.
Good news. I've been catching up on classics like Star Wars and some newer films for the past two nights. I haven't had access to movies for close to 7 months while I've been traveling and my hotel has some. Quite an indulgent treat!
