A Newcomers Weekender Thread Nov 27
Hey Joe! Glad you're here!
And congrats on a week abraxas! Waking up sober on Sunday morning never gets old!
Having lunch now....hot chocolate and a cookie. I'll try to have a real meal for supper but it's just too much effort. Ha!
Put More Christmas stuff up. Saving ornaments for last but needed a break. Listening to Alice in Chains has really put me in the Christmas spirit .

Mr. Potamus opened up our back gate and let the beagles roam in the woods for a while - he called them back in a few minutes ago, and when he reached down to bring Lucy in, she got so mad she attacked and bit Katie on the neck! Wow. Misplaced aggression. She can be a little b**** sometimes. Poor Katie. The younger beagle dominates the older one.
Now he and Lucy are on their way to the river for a few hours of kayaking. He takes her with him now every time.
Katie is staying home with me. I have some studying to do today.

I think they're tug boats, Bim. Or freight boats. They carry coal and other materials back and forth.
There's a boat that's always docked out there called the Bama Belle. It's a dinner party boat. I don't see it in the pic though.

It's fun, Behan. Mr. Potamus had never kayaked until he met me I had two kayaks. We sold them and upgraded to better ones for fishing, the sit on top kind. They are more comfortable for recreational kayaking.
My Dad used to whitewater kayak a long time ago. He would do the dangerous type of kayaking, and nearly got killed a couple of times. Dislocated shoulders, etc. These days, he kayaks in a French Canadian specialty wooden kayak. I guess I picked up the sport from him But we just have regular non-fancy kayaks.

Yes, it's hard to catch up, petals.
I went out for a few hours and when I came back there were 10 more pages.
good day here. My outing with the child was fun. Then I came home and ate a ton of ice cream cause I needed room in my freezer for some frozen salmon that I bought.
Now I think I'll take a nap...
