Determined... not knowing coke, my guess is it's right up there with opiates. This is 2 weeks late, hope you're doing great. By now, hopefully you're past physical WD and are battling cravings. Hang tough, Brother. (Sister?) Either is cool.
One last check-in in this particular thread... don't want it to turn into a personal "daily sobriety check" thread.
Still sober, it's been 3 weeks now. All physical symptoms pretty much gone, still get the ol' "mass anxiety" thing occasionally, nervous tension, etc. As we have all found, it's hard to live sober initially.
I'll get several "damn I want a drink" moments every day, and every so often a real beast rears up, DEMANDING alcohol. Back, away with you.
I'll say this - I'm losing weight, less bloated, plenty of energy, sometimes TOO much, which contributes to cravings for that mellowing alcohol effect, but I'm conquering.
AND, worst of all, is the insidious little demon that says "You've been a good boy. Maybe in a week, you can have a beer after dinner... You can handle it." THAT voice.
Signing off of my "Back to SR" thread... and THANKS ALL!!
