Smaller problems

It is true. If we don't drink, our problems get smaller. My big problem today is that the SR sobriety calendar says I have 180 days but it is not yet 6 months to the day from my last drink. I always thought 180 days was 6 months. Go figure. What to do, what to do? I know what to do - get down on my knees and thank God for 180 days sober!!! Sober blessings to all.

That's awesome!! Congratulations!

I know how you feel when the sobriety calendar app doesn't calculate milestones like that... Now you get to celebrate 180 days and then 6 months a few days later! Extra party!

Ps I turn 180 days on Thanksgiving. I feel like it's really getting good- not always easy but I feel like amazing things are happening with my health and mind. Little by little but I've definitely made progress. What about you?

Melina, I frequently feel like an onion and literally get the sensation of a layer peeling away. With each layer my load gets lighter. My thoughts clearer. And, I think most importantly, I care about others more and more. Thank you for your support. Be well.

I completely agree with you except I still have trouble with short term memory.... I'm confident things will improve. And I'm excited to see how they do, in all areas.

I joke and say I wish they invented this sobriety thing sooner!

I like the onion comparison. Keep on keeping on, I'll see you around!
