Congratulations on two months, cl.

Glad to hear that you fought the urge to go to the liquor store last night.

You can have reasons, or you can have results, but you can't have both.

Awesome job avoiding the bottle today! You're an inspiration to me and it helps that you share that even after a couple months, that old voice can pull at you. I'll be ready! Congratulations!

whats your recovery plan look like?

My recovery plan has just been getting back into therapy at the mental health/ drug and alcohol clinic, reading literature (I admit I need to do more of that), and using the different coping/mindfulness strategies I've learned to deal with urges.

When I start thinking of drinking, it's saved me a lot of times to just get a change of scenery, or get up and do something different than what I'm doing right then.

It still feels like I'm walking on eggshells and could relapse any minute... Today my mind was not in a great place, so I took a nap, and ended up having a relapse dream anyway (ha). But it's nice to just take it a moment at a time and know it'll eventually pass on its own if I just don't drink.

Thanks for all the kind words here.
