I wonder if some of the misunderstandings could be avoided just by some subtle changes to how you present your opinions?
For example, if I wrote "I found AVRT was the approach that worked for me, and I'm now nearly 6 months sober" I hope nobody would be offended by that. It's simply my story.
If I wrote "I used AVRT, as that's the only method that works" (which isn't my belief, by the way) I imagine an awful lot of people would be offended. Namely everyone who has used any other method.
As Dee says your opinions are very welcome here. Everyone's stories, particularly those who have had long periods of sobriety are an inspiration. It's just about finding the right words to tell that story.
