Give yourself some credit....

It's OK to say "way to go".

You can look yourself right in the eye (go ahead, use a mirror!!) and say "I'm proud of you".

Whether it's congratulating yourself on your 735th day of sobriety.

Or simply giving yourself a pat on the back for making it through today.

Or maybe it's taking that courageous first step and saying to someone else in this world "I have a problem with addiction".

Those things are deserving, too.

Maybe it's waking up without a hangover.

Maybe it's making it until noon without a drink.

It might be giving someone else a hand at a time in need, helping THEM avoid pickingup.

Maybe you just got out of detox.

Recovery from addiction isn't easy. Freedom in sobriety is filled with a million challenges. There are pitfalls all over the place.

There are also triumphs.

And you're allowed to celebrate.

Happy Sober Wednesday.

WAY TO GO, YOU!!!!
