rehab advice

I am new here, and have battled the alcohol demon for many years. I have been to rehab before, but am looking for advice on any place you have had experience with that is GOOD. I prefer a holistic approach rather than just a 12 step program, but am willing to listen to any and all suggestions. I got a second DUI a week and a half ago, have to see an attorney tomorrow, and want to do the right thing. Thanks!

Welcome Kitties. This forum has people from around the world on it so it would help to geographically have some idea where you're looking. I went to a pretty famous one in Minnesota, not sure what the forum policy is on mentioning names.

I am in New England, but am not necessarily looking just in this area. Thank you!

Hi Kitties

The trouble with rehab reviews is they're always subjective.
What might have been terrible for someone else might be great for you or vice versa.

This thread will probably be most useful if we stick to positive experiences

We don't allow the paid advertisers to post links to their sites in the forums, so I'd appreciate it if noone posted commercial links, cos we'll have only to remove them

The SAMSHA substance abuse facility database is a good way to get an idea of just what's available in your local area:
