My step father passed away last night
 

That pretty much says it all.

We are going out of town to stay with my mom for a couple days tomorrow. I'm pretty nervous about that. Haven't seen her in 8 years.

This sucks. Hit me a little harder than i thought it would. He's been my dad basically, since i was 11. I've been in a fog like state and am very withdrawn. I can't help it. It's like i just want to be left alone.

With the stuff that has happened with my husband and now this, it's pretty overwhelming.

Oh Peanut, I'm so sorry. I'm sure you are feeling all kinds of emotions right now. Are you going to be okay going to see your mother after 8 years?

Anna, I'm going to have to be. She is hurting and alone so me and my husband will go over in the morning and stay for 2 nights max.

She really wants to see me. It just seems like one thing after the next lately. A lot of stress at work too.
