Sunday night. Would have started around 4pm. Second bottle of wine about now and would be hitting social media, texting like a crazy person. My personal record was conversations with 9 people at the same time.

The hyper fun fun high would start to turn nasty in about 10 minutes.

What would you be doing today if you weren't sober?

Well it's Sunday here.
If drinking I might not or probably would not make it to church this morning.
Then a long afternoon of drinking and smoking various things.
A night of seeing double or triple.
Making it at times hard to get to sleep.

Worse of all,
waking tomorrow and wanting to do the exact same thing.

Over and over and over again.
Rolling and rolling and rolling in my sin.

At 10 am I would already be drunk on a Sunday. Chances are I would have woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep. Nothing better than getting up at 3 am to pour a cocktail. I made sure to have plenty of vodka and stuff to mix it with Friday so it would last all weekend. I would drink, pass out, drink, pass out all the while during awake periods taking the dogs to potty.

I am so thankful that life is over! I was not living only existing.

I would have gone back to the same bar at noon, where I was the night before, to open up the place for some Sunday NFL football where I would choke down some greasy bar food with my first beer. I would leave at around 4 pm to vomit and take a nap and the return for the Sunday night game around 8. Good times...good times...
