Day 5!
Day 5!
Wow, what a day! Had some pretty scary moments. Kept thinking about sneaking some wine after work. Plotting a trip to the store and just throwing in the towel. The thoughts were obsessive. And I kept trying to talk my conscience out of it, and it worked. I went home after work and then went to a meeting. Felt so much better after the meeting. Thankfully

A few weeks in I remember thinking - Am I ever going to stop thinking about drinking... and then it started getting better. Now I go for hours and sometimes I day without thinking about it. Hang in there and stay dedicated. Don't let your mind start thinking about a plan to drink - try to stop it ASAP.
