I'm 95 days sober.
I have been to meetings, have a long story. Am nervous, but enjoying being sober for the longest time in my life.
I'm a 30-something male in London with a partner and family.
That' will do for now.

Thanks. I've just discovered that I registered on 22nd August 2008, but that was my first post. That's how long it's taken me to actually do something about it.

I'm starting to learn that each sober day that I accrue helps me better deal with past issues .

Also I used to beat myself up for leaving it so long before taking getting sober seriously. Your post made me realize that I don't do that so much now..

Well done on 95 days. You are nailing this.

It does feel like something of a miracle that I could possibly get to 96 days without a drink.

It is a miracle, for me anyway. How come I could never go more than two or three days sober in the last 13 years, but now I'm 4 months??
