"Rewired" by Erica Spiegelman

I highly recommend this book as it is changing my life. If you are new or old to recovery this book is a must read, very inspiring common sense approach to dealing with addiction.

Second this. I read it and found it so good that I've actually done (well, started) a synopsis of each chapter in word and endeavoured to answer the questions honestly.

The chapters are on: Authenticity, Honesty, Evolution, Solitude, Time Management, Self Care, Healthy Relationships, Gratitude, Compassion, Love, Affirmations (for all chapters), and Hope.

It's written in a very accessible way and really addresses the fundamental parts of you as a human being.

Recommended x

Thanks for the book recommendation Looking. The type of approach this book appears to offer really appeals to me because I know that I desperately need to "rewire" my thinking and perspectives if I'm going to stay sober. In addition, the reviews on Amazon are all good. I've added it to my reading list.

Thanks looking.

I'm just part way through this book and really like it. It drills deep into why we became addicted in the first place and offers the tools necessary to break out of the cycle. The questions at the end of each chapter are definitly worth taking some time over.
