Yes I agree, ever since I stopped drinking almost 8 weeks ago I had a little voice saying "you could really try to moderate" that got louder and louder until it was shouting "just have a day off" at me all day long.

I slept so well last night, I'm going back to my support group on Saturday. I still have 48 out of the last 52 days sober, that is a fact. I'm still proud of that and will continue to work on my new sober life!!

Ok I'm back, day 1, thanks for the support, so my "moderation" idea of 1 bottle of wine a week (all being drunk on a Saturday night) failed spectacularly.

I've just drunk 6 bottles of wine in 5 nights. I've been pouring them into plastic water bottles and then driving out to dump the glass bottles so my husband wouldn't see the empties. I've been sneaking drinks from them in the hall, the kitchen, before tea, whilst cooking, it has truly been horrible alcoholic behaviour.

I've woken up every day to horrible feelings of dread as I realise what I did the night before...

I've dashed downstairs to clear up any evidence of the previous nights drinking.

Thank god the wine is finished, I'm done, I'm going to do this...
