The fellowship of AA is just one of the things that keeps me coming back to AA. I had an alzhimer moment and left my phone at a meeting. I didn't stick around so I knew someone had it but just no sure who. 15 minutes after I get home one of my buddies delivers it to me. I know where he lives and he drove 5 miles out of his way. Wow, to think at the end of my drinking I had zero friends.
I truly thank God for the people he has brought into my life through AA

Yep, I noticed that. AA people tend to look out for each other.
It's nice to know that I can be a 1000 miles from home, and go to an AA meeting in a strange town and find fellowship and camaraderie with complete strangers.

I know exactly what you mean.
One of the things that I find most humbling in my daily life is that fellowship that I find in the rooms, and in extended contact with (text; emails; phone chats; coffee meets) with people from the rooms. It has given me a faith in human nature that I never had in my first 42 years on this planet.

What I didn't mention is that there was absolutely no doubt I would get my phone back. These are people I literally would trust with my life. The only question was who had it and how they were going to let me know they had it.
