Exhausted...
...in a good way. I can honestly say I have been busy since getting out of bed at 6 am. My body aches from shopping, bathing dogs, 3 long walks with the dogs, preparing 3 meals, cleaning and vacuuming out the car, and getting some packing done.
This time barely over 2 months ago I would have spent the day pretty much wasted all day and would have accomplished hardly anything. So this is what sober people do. LOL What's crazy is I couldn't imagine what on earth a sober person would do all day on a Sunday. The first few weeks I didn't have the energy or desire to do anything, but fast forward 61 days and this is how my day was.
Progress is slow and steady. Having sober days like this is so worth the struggles of fighting the alcohol demons. I'll go to bed tonight worn out and content that I actually accomplished stuff. Tomorrow I won't wake up and be upset with myself for wasting the day in a drunken stupor.
If you're struggling, just know it gets better. One day at a time!
