That's brilliant.

And now the driving issue won't affect work either - so relieved for you.

Might still be scary even standing in court though, so good luck with that regardless

I'm almost out of the woods. I still have 1 more DUI to take care of. I go to court for that one in December. Ridiculous how much trouble I got myself in. SMH

On another note...we had a graduation from IOP tonight. When you graduate you have to tell your life story as to how you ended up saying my name is so and so and this is my journey. One of the craziest heart felt life stories I've ever heard. Opens up my eyes to look at life and realize things can be a lot worse for me.

That's fantastic news!!

Use this lifeline though to never have to come back to this place again, draw a line under alcohol once and for all!!

You can do this!!

I didn't get the job I wanted, but life goes on. I finally went to court today and got everything handled. So I have DUI classes to take but will be waved once I show that I completed my outpatient treatment. I have to go to the morgue and a victims panel. I'll take the wreckless driving charge over the DUI any day. I also did get to other charges dropped. I'm so thankful I get to keep my job! I'm already using this as a building block in my life to keep doing the right thing like I have the past 56 days.

I'm so please that this day has finally come and gone, and you are still determined to use the experience as a catalyst for change. I suspect that the people in court must have seen how genuine you are about this, and your willingness and desire to change for the better must have been a real breath of fresh air for them.

Sorry you didn't get the other job, but you are freer to focus on that kind of thing now that this court date has passed, so maybe something else is round the corner.
