Four Days Sober...
Congrats on 4 days! Do you have a plan for the weekend? Having resources in place when temptations creep up is much better than trying to white-knuckle through it. SR is open 24/7 so don't be afraid to ask for help any time if you need it.
Good job!
If you're concerned about the weekend, you might try making some plans to things differently than your normal routine. I think it's important, in the early days, to break habits that involve alcohol.

Hi and welcome,
There should be advertisers that say...Alcohol is poisen. It will damage your body and mind.
There is not a single drinker on this forum that would disagree.
Instead we see adds for cool people doing cool stuff. Such BS.
I have been clean for over 5 months and am getting better every day.
My brain has been healing steadily. It takes a while to heal since I have been drinking hard for 15 years or so.
Basically, after so many years of drinking, I felt drunk when I wasn't drinking. It took drinking to feel normal.
You don't want that....stop today...drinking is madness.
My health is improving as well.
Helping others is part of the recovery process.
You can do it. Just quit. Be a proud sober person.
