I have read several (from ted.com) under the engineering section. I would say 80% were interesting and thought provoking. The other 20% I was probably a bit out of my depth

I watched this one recently, Soberwolf, and found it helpful and practical. It's on body language, power poses, and influencing others' perceptions and our own body chemistries through posture: Amy Cuddy: Your body language shapes who you are | TED Talk | TED.com

This one is particularly relevant to those of us on this forum, in my opinion. I think many of us here qualify as "scrappers."

Definitely one of the best TED Talks I've seen!

This is one of my all time favorites. Sherwin Nuland, a psychiatrist and author who experienced and recovered from severe depression, talk about his journey. I find him very inspiring and each time I feel he would have been someone I would have really wanted to meet IRL. I really like his style, humor, everything. Sadly, he died recently.

This other one is Susan Cain, who also wrote an excellent book on introversion that puts it in a quite different light from the general views. She talkes about the same topic here, thought you might relate some, SW

Hi everyone,

Soberwolf, I just had to resurrect your thread to say 'thanks' for introducing me to TED talks. Before this thread I had never watched one but have since watched a few Brené Brown talks as well as Amy Cuddy's that Soberpotamus recommended.

To Soberpotamus, THANK YOU for recommending the Amy Cuddy talk. By the end of her talk I had been given something and was full of fully positive recollections and gratitude - the kind of gratitude that everyone benefits from. Highly recommend.

I learn so much from you guys. Anymore new talks to add?

Soberwolf et al,

This is one is absolutely hilarious....I recently saw it at a business offsite...it pertains to how happiness inspires us to be more productive.

Hi, Wolfie and friends,

Here's a great TED talk on neurogenesis, our brain's ability to create new neuro transmitters in adulthood.

https://www.ted.com/talks/sandrine_t...ow?language=en

Tip 1: It appears eating blueberries and salmon helps, as does getting exercise.

Tip 2: Take a big guess at what hurts the process.
