Listen inwards
Beyond that chatter
Deeper still
Past the conniving and contempt
Back to a voice of sweetness and laughter
There where you'd cuddle and play
Among the swaying grasses
There by the tall oaks
Along pendulum curves of tire-swing Saturdays
Is a quiet voice
Who knows what's really golden
Let that voice speak to you
Preferably at the sunrise
Beside a stream or upon a mountain
Do this every day
With earnest curiosity
And just see what you find
Happy Gratitude Tuesday
