Sober for 42 days

sober for 42 days. Suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. Is this common. I was a case a week beer drinker for many years

Hi Bulldog welcome to SR anxiety is very common as are panic attack in early sobriety talking to a Dr really reinforced & strenghtened my sobriety

Way to go on 42 days bud

Way to go on 42 days!! I am on day 5 after a relapse. I have anxiety as well but in the past the longer I stay sober the less my anxiety. I talked to my doctor and that helped. I was afraid of self medicating with alcohol and that road sucks!!! Keep up good work and I'm doing one day sometimes one moment at a time.😊
