Tenderness in my side gone
When I was drinking, I noticed a little tenderness on my right side just below my rib cage. That is almost certainly my liver. Now that I am 9 days off the poison (actually 14 days with the exception of the day I slipped 9 days ago- I have no tenderness at all. I think my liver was probably aggravated. My liver count numbers were high normal and two where slightly elevated from the normal range. Looking forward to my physical in December.
Anyone have any similar experience when getting off the poison?

Great doing - 9 days for us both! On the mornings after I drank, I had a dull pain in my lower abdomen - either or both sides. I never did figure out what it was, but I knew it wasn't a good thing. It disappears and stays gone when I stop drinking. Just another sign that we are doing good for our bodies!

It's common for a lot of things to get better after we quit drinking, glad you are seeing the benefits. I'd suggest leaving the diagnosis of the health of your liver up to your doctor though, but certainly abstaining will be of great benefit.
