Monday Morning feelgood thread
Good inspirational stories! I woke up today, day 2, feeling a little sleepy because of the sleepytime tea last night, but otherwise great! Teaching 2 classes this morning, feeling prepared and energetic.
Happy Monday everyone!

Cancelled Wedding Leads to Meal for Homeless - NBC News Here is another story about taking care of the homeless.
I remember when I was young we had very little money. My mom was a single parent, going through school to get her master's degree and working whatever jobs she could find. It was very hard, sometimes we would find bags of groceries on our doorstep because people knew how tough of a time we had. But we did have a roof over our heads, something to eat each night and a warm fire on cold nights. My mom always wanted to show me and my brother that we should be grateful for what we have and no matter how little we have to give, we always have something to give. At Christmas we would go to k-mart and buy gloves, hats and socks with what little extra money my mom had and then ride around town to hand these out to homeless people. We weren't able to buy many pairs, but the few people we were able to help were so thankful.

Meanwhile we were getting food donated to us.
I love my mom
Hi all yes Happy Monday Oct 19 2015... it is a beautiful day.. homeless.. that is such a huge part of life today.. if not for my Son .. I would not have a roof over my head.. true true true.... sometimes here in Milwauke on Tv this man was homeless he was robbing this these people stopped the robbery of a store by a homelessperson... and it just goes on.. I wonder at times... were are their families the Moms and Dads that made them and took the money from the state that was used when they were children.. and then the refuge goes down the street in a new car.. and I just turn everything off and clean my sons house.. prayers so many prayers.. have an apple watch the birds for a bit. and then if you can share something with someone that has so little ... for your problems will become less in your thoughts when you know that there are those with less then you.. ok I am in a circle.. but that is life. love to you all. kids and beans... ardy
Thanks SW for a bit of sunshine today. I pass a homeless camp on my way to work and wonder about the stories. Meanwhile every block in the area has numerous vacant and boarded houses. Waste.
But the sun is shining, it's warm and I don't have a hangover so it's another beautiful day.

Today is day 2 for me. I woke up feeling better than I have in weeks after not drinking yesterday. It was hard too, lots of anxiety during the day. Now I feel pretty good!! Godspeed everyone!
It's tremendous to rock up to the office with a clear head and actually get through a load of work on a Monday. That hasn't happened in a while!
Roll on next Monday!!
Happy this Monday ;o)
