Same shi" everyday....

Made it 3 days. Why? Life is still the same. I am drunk and still miserable. Why bother?

To really evaluate sobriety you need to give it more than 3 days.

It's not easy to get sober, but it's worth it.

What kind of recovery plan are you using?

I've PMed you Badger.

We can close threads and close your account, but we don't delete posts.
It's not fair to those members here who took the time to respond to you.

If you want your account closed I really think it's best you sleep on it.

If you still feel the same way tomorrow, then you should PM an admin like Anna, and she'll close your account.

At 3 days I felt as good as I did when I was still drinking, the body needs time to adjust, and it hadn't!!

But after 6 and 12 Months, that's when the magic started to happen!!

You can't be cured in 3 days. This is a way of life. I've struggled and relapsed. The best times of my life were when I got sober. Then I messed up and made my life harder than it needed to b. You can't expect to b jumping for joy after 3 days it takes time and patience be been relapsing on and off. I miss being sober and involved at the meetings now I'm glad I found this place. Everyone here is supportive. Give it a chance. Give yourself a chance. Don't give up so soon. Things take time. Hope u stay❤️

Think about how long it took you to get to the point where drinking was a problem. How many years was it?

Can't expect the problem to be fixed in just 3 days. Give it more time. You're going to have ups and downs but after a bit you'll be feeling a lot better overall.

How are you tonight Badger?

You asked why?? Because you deserve to be sober. We all do, getting there is the hard part, but worth every ounce of energy you put in.

Day 3 is tough. If you're still around, hang in there. Never give up.

Hi Badger, I hope you will stay and find some ground here to sobriety.
I know you are here because you want that on some level.

Recovery does not happen overnight Badger. 3 days is brilliant, but it takes time for thoughts to change. Don't beat yourself up anymore.

Hi badger.

I hope you come back.

You ventured here because of a small voice within that knows somethin.

Listen to that voice.

why bother? because sobriety is worth it and so are you.

did ya give up trying to walk after 3 days?
give up trying to write after 3 days?
reading?

the only change i experienced at 3 days is that i didnt have alcohol in me for 3 days. i was still miserable. getting through that took time.

how about giving sobriety as many years as ya drank?
then decide if its worth it?
