Day six. Feel great. Have a fun and safe weekend planned. No physical issues from being the booze, just some of those weird times after work where my car is driving past the liquor store rather than pulling in. But been eating good, etc. waking up feeling good is awesome. The guys that run the liquor store must think someone stole my car when it drives by without pulling in LoL.

Yep. If I go to a different grocery store, hardware store, auto parts, school, vendor, Doctor, book store, hell even if I haven't talked to a friend or family member in a while- we don't think much about that. But the guys running the liquor store- we are thinking what are they thinking. That's an alcoholic mind!

Day 6 is great KidsEverywhere. Great to see your looking at the glass half full (and not with alcohol), its hard to do during the early days of recovery. Keep it up, were all rootin for ya!

Yeah I went into the gas station I would always buy my beer at to get a scratch off lottery thing. She asked, "Are you forgetting something?" I said nope and left.

Awesome Juno! You need to hang out around here more! You had me worried again! How has your week been? How are the cravings? Tonight coming home on Friday night after a busy week, I had my most powerful: "it's Friday after work, everyone stops by the liquor store" moment. I got home and chilled out with a bottle of water and actually somehow dozed off for a few with the kids running in and out.

I'm feeling good mostly but feel like I might be getting a cold so a little run down at the moment. Hoping a nice Friday night in and a good sleep will fight off the cold. Anything beats a hangover - mine were just awful! Sorry I haven't been here a lot - busy week. I'll keep in touch if I have cravings but so far I haven't had much of any. Gotta be vigilant this weekend - last Saturday night was when I blew it!!

Last Saturday was when I blew up six days too. I had kind of planned to drink all along. But I didn't get anything out of it (again). I'm done with it now. Got a busy day planned tomorrow
