Day three. Things are going well. Tonight, to keep my mind busy. I decided to take a look at some gold krugerrand pieces and baseball rings I keep in the back of my gun safe that I haven't looked at in a while. . I had to move some papers and when I get the box out- guess what, behind the box are five little empty "pocket rocket" 100ml jack Daniels bottles I had stashed meaning to throw out when my wife was not home. I don't even remember specifically when I put them there, but it has been a while since I've looked at the coins/ rings. Just goes to show what an illness alcoholism is. Hiding and empty bottles stashed around the house. Insane. Absolutely insane.

I figured I was drinking 15-18 of them a week, plus a few beers 2 of the bottles per night Monday- Thursday three per night on Friday, sat, and sun. No wonder they piled up!

Good job on Day 3 (me too!) one time I found an empty wine bottle inside a suitcase and I had no recollection of putting it there But it's all in the past now !

Hey Juno. I was looking for you today and worried you had gone back out. Great to hear we are hanging together! I am really feeling great and made it a point to stay busy after work. Times are good! Hang in there!

Ugh! I found wine bottles everywhere for weeks, and yes in a suitcase too. Found an old rancid half glass of wine behind shoes in my closet. Awful. I really hope I don't find anymore!
