12 days down the drain

I drunk last night after 12 days off the poison and ended up right back in the same place..
Iam annoyed with myself but the positive is I actually prefer being sober and not wasting my life hungover.

Hope everybody is well

A relapse taught me I didn't want to drink any longer and for that reason,
it was useful.

Don't just go back to not drinking, but review and improve what you are doing
towards recovery so you don't get into "serial relapse syndrome".

Make your sobriety plan better and figure out what triggered your lapse this time and plug the hole.

You can do it--after all, you are the strongest man in the world Hercules

Sorry to hear that but welcome back Hercules. Do you think perhaps you need a better sobriety plan? Can we help you make one?

Go at things again Hercules!!

How about posting BEFORE having that drink, here at SR there's someone 24/7, and a few folks that will give you all the reasons that your addiction isn't saying as to why drinking is a bad day.

For me learning support was only as good as me using it was important.

You can do this!!

Not true. Did being sober for 12 days wipe out all of the drunk times before that?

Of course not.

Likewise, drunk time does not wipe out the sober time. It's all in the past. 12 sober days are in the books, and cannot be undone.

You did 12 days. Do it again. Do it better. Do it longer.
