Day 1 is in the books

Hi every one. I'm new here. Yesterday was day 1 without a drink. Feels good to not wake up feeling extremely hung over. Taking it one day at a time.

Hello and welcome, I'm glad you're here.
You have two milestones today; you realize you may have a problem and admitted it to someone (us). Those are big steps.
Remember, you never have to have another first day or hangover if you don't pick up that first drink. One day at a time. Hope to hear more from you. Lots of support here.
Best to you.

Hey purple day #1 is a huge one to have in the books. For me it got worst and it wasn't easy, but once i start getting some peace back and some sober time in it got a lot better...Keep it going it's worth it....

Thank u all for the warm welcome and support. Today has been good but I have been so busy it's been easy not to think about drinking. I have been feeling tired but fairly good all day. Got alot done which I wouldn't have if I had been drinking. So yay.

Couldn't hardly sleep last night so day 3 I feel exhausted and actually feel like I'm hung over but I'm not. Hoping to nap later.

Welcome, first week or so can be tricky physically, but it will soon ease off and you can look forward to your much better life poison free. How great is that?!!
Keep going and good luck.
