Ive honestly spent my life helping out other people ( just the way i was taught ), but received nothing in return,but ridicule... time for me to make a stand and take care of myself...

thank you.. and I do not want to come across as a whiner., I never had any real support .. ( not until know ,,, not just because of this sight ,,, but because of a special person in my life } my "prior relationship ' would " support me" by sitting at the dinner table with a beer asking if it bothers me... invite me to a wine tasting and say its OK if I have one glass.. thankfully those days are over and I have real support..LOL !!!

You have to really want sobriety. Sounds as though you do; that's a very good start.

currently watching a show called Horter"s ... I want to slap the guy and say WAKE UP !!! .. Them I think of my situation and realize I need to back down... addiction 's a bitch no matter what the the substance or reason

want sobriety more than anything ... saw my daughter today ,,, gave her money for college applications,,, wish I could give her the money for tuition... that's the price of this disease

Many kids get through with student loans.

You may be able to help her pay off those loans on a couple of years.

All kinds of possibilities in sobriety.

been through this enough times to know what to expect,,, the euphoric feeling of feeling healthier ,,, and the guilt from the realization of all the past memories and actions that have been suppressed for soo long,,,, a real balancing act.....
