Yes, MLD, Columbus Day. I only wish kids had school so that, selfishly, i could have a day to myself. That will come later this month when I start burning vacation days.

I overslept too....but it was sort of intentional. My daughter is at ther dad's so I don't have to get her all ready for school before yoga. Normally I'm up at 5...today? 7. Lots of sleep.
I hear the weekend rolling in. Its gonna be warm and beautiful here. Where is winter anyway?

I overslept this morning causing me to be late for class. This month is so hectic for me but luckily I have a lot of down time this weekend so I'm looking to do a lot of sober relaxation!

Why hello weekend thread! Birthday weekend for me so I will be taking myself to the movies and a nice dinner. You know, cause I'm classy like that. I actually woke up a bit early this morning because I had my window open and it got CHILLY overnight. Came into work to some coffee from a coworker so that was a nice start to the day. Here's to a sober weekend!

went to the thrift store to pick up a shirt and pants to experiment making camo clothes... I saw a half dozen items that used to be in MY closet. funny eh?
watered the 'grass' and gonna get on with organizing basement/garage
There is room if it's packed away efficiently... saw missus wiping dew from car so she could see... better let her have the garage sooner than later.
well it looks like it's gonna turn colder...

I think it's ten years since the Cubs made it to the playoffs. It's been over a hundred years since they've won a world series.
It's too nice outside to sit indoors but I have no choice. Gorgeous. Not too hot. Not too cold. It's just right.

I'm in and ready for cooler weather!
A cold front for us this time of year is not hitting 80 during the day. I think it was 87 or so yesterday! Ready for fall...

Being sick is really the pits. Just going to the store for juice and supplies really kicked me in the hind quarters.

Actually I looked it up, and the Cubs made it to post-season in 2008. Probably lost immediately. I'm not expecting a World Series, just happy they finally have a new, good manager and some great talent - all at the same time.
