I'm glad you got through yesterday, melina. Sounds like you were hit by fatigue. A good night sleep or a nap can be worth a million bucks. I'm glad that everything is ok today.

Melina hang in there. You too Brynn. I always hated Sunday. It's the one day where you realize that You've accomplished none of the things over the weekend that you intended. The days are getting shorter.

Trying to get son to bed. Everyone else is crashed for the night. Tomorrow we're hosting a friend of my son's.

I'll see you all tomorrow.

((Melina))

Feeling much better after watching Iron Maiden in concert!! Forgot how much I love that band and how incredibly talented they are. Saw some footage from Australia....think I saw Dee trying to get on stage

Sweet dreams xoxo

I like you all so much.

Thank you!

Oh brynn, I would give anything to see Dee rocking it out onstage!! He is our rockstar!

Ruby, did you do the soup?

Hugs to all going night night. I downloaded 'Mrs D is Going Without,' it's a book in the 'quit lit' genre that I think so many of us adore... I'll let you know how it is or let me know what you thought of it if you read it.

I also got Codependent No More but who knows when I'll be ready to go there lololol.

And Brene Brown's new book 'Rising Strong' was at the library so I picked that up. Her name keeps coming up in recovery stuff I'm reading so I'll give that a whirl.

All this 'wishful reading' is contingent on the child not waking up.

xoxo

I have just seen a grown man wearing a yellow snood with red turkey wattles. Most disconcerting for a Monday morning

HAHAHA Thats awesome Trees... I mean Sao! Good to smile first thing.

Oh yes.. I am still with a cold. Moving to chest and throat. Was fever and chills. Seeing the doctor today. Still going to work as the fever is gone. Need to go. I will come home early as I have few meetings.

Thanks for a great sober weekend folks! Good to see the new and familiar faces.

I should be myself by Thursday again! Normal start!!!! Sorry for this one.

I had a delightful weekend with my D, DIL and Grandson. Trips to the orchard and the park, made applesauce and chicken soup, which seemed to have been a theme for the weekend. A trip to Target, a couple hours walking the dog in the woods, early to bed, early to rise, it couldn't have been better. And no thoughts or craving alcohol at all.

Can't remember how to attach a pic. Have a nice one of Lake Superior from last weekend.

Happy Monday?

Another fine Monin' with more Wireless Internet construction ahead intermittently all week. Gorgeous Weather for such activity.

No Pumpkin shortage around here. Big ones are $4.88 at Wally World a.k.a. Wal Mart.

A germane lil Ditty about Family that this Thread reminded me of.

This Birthday Card kinda cuts right to it. I especially like the lil Cocktail Weenie Character w/Cane flying off the Water Slide at The End.

Still here. I just noticed the notice. LOL.
Been lurking. Had a slip one day a month ago today.
What will be different this time? Everything.
Lunar has a thick skull, took a while to penetrate.
Otherwise, hello everyone. Whoever has off today,
for Columbus Day, enjoy! (I have to work).
Happy Thanksgiving to those in Canada!

Good morning and thanks for the laughs. Mesa, some of those turkey outfits are pretty bad. Sao, I can only imagine seeing the turkey wattles.

Another beautiful day here. I did not want to get out of bed. Mr. Ruby forgot it was a holiday and called the house at 6:30 a.m., waking me up. Grr. He's working.

Bernie it sounds like a lovely weekend. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I'm going to do some cleaning today which got shoved to the back burner this weekend. I don't feel like moving.
