Here I am
 

So here I am, 71 days sober. I never thought I'd make it this far. Never.

With that being said, there have been many times that I've pondered if I'll ever have a drink again. But for now, I can't know. Not don't, but can't.

The other day we went to my sisters. She offered me a beer, I said no, and we went on. No biggie. There was an empty beer on the counter with a swig left and I lifted it to my nose. Ahh.

That was two days ago. And I'm still sober. Will I ever be able to enjoy just one beer? (Haha, AV already saying, "no, just two maybe") that's a question for tomorrow.

Well done on 71 days. You didn't drink and that makes a good day. On to tomorrow, you're working hard. Keep posting!

Sometimes it is just a moment at a time....if you're an alcoholic I'd have to say no, you probably can't have that 1 beer. You can do this:)

Stay on the sober path; it's heading you in the right direction.

When each day is a record sober time for (us).
Causes me not to wish to throw it away.

Might never get to this place in time again?

I can never have that one beer because I'm a non drinker now. Life is better without alcohol. Way better.

The answer is...No. You can never "Enjoy" just one beer.

You never have...and you never will.
