Shopping
Went into my local to buy sweets and things to get me through my first day. Must be two years since I went in without buying beer.
One of the shop workers said "No booze this morning?", I mumbled something about that I quit and they said that's great and wished me the best of luck. It was kind of nice in an embarrassing way.
Walking past the alcohol without buying any and throwing away my seven remaining beers have been my two big accomplishments today. Plus it's nice not having to feel the shame of buying alcohol in the middle of the morning.

Yeah, the shame of doing the kind of shopping a 14 years old would do when his parents were away for the night (mountains of sweets, chocolate, fizzy pop and a tube of Pringles) didn't even register. I've had practise.
