Greetings
Good Morning
My registered name is kelee877 and I am an alcoholic
I have just had my 10 year of sobriety on October 19
I was googling my boyfriend is hiding alcohol and I came across one of your posts..was relieved and decided to join the forum
Thank you for having such a great site, I have a hard time attending AA meetings as I find they trigger me more then typing at home
for opening the register doors and allowing me in

Hey! It's nice to meet you and congratulations on your 10th year of sobriety, it's very inspiring!
I understand about AA. I attend meetings and most of the time I feel a huge sense of relief and comfort, but other times, usually when I go to a new meeting, it doesn't click very well!
I'm sorry to hear about your boyfriend hiding alcohol. There's a separate section of the forum for family & friends of alcohlics so might want to check that out to get some specific support too!

Keelee,
Welcome.
10 years is amazing amazing.
I am trying to grab each sober day w gusto, but I will be very proud to be able to say that in the year 2022 or so.
Now that you mention it... AA has a trigger impact on me too. It is in my tool box though..jic something weird changes.
This place saved my life.
I love having long term sober folks that did it w out AA.
But, I love my AA bro.s and sis.s as well.
What ever it takes to stay clean as a whistle.
Thanks.
